Day Two: Who do you ship her with the most and why?
Klaroline. Klaus and Caroline have a push-and-pull relationship. Klaus helps Caroline to appreciate everything around her and to see what being a vampire can mean for her (i.e. 3x11). She can experience culture, and travel and look at the positives of being a vampire instead of dwelling on the negatives. He pushes her to see her full potential. However, Caroline isn’t that easy to win over. She makes Klaus want to be a better person. From the very beginning she hasn’t been afraid to tell it like it is to him, and doesn’t care if he’s offended by what she’s telling him (i.e. 3x14). She doesn’t care that he’s an original vampire, he has to earn her affections, which he clearly is trying to do. She makes him show compassion and kindness, and expects nothing less. They help each other to see the world and their lives through different perspectives, and build off of each other and grow. By doing so, they help each other become better people.
